I'm attempting to come up with a new form of drive train.. something controversial

the ball drive

a single "ball" will consist of a basketball- or similarly shaped ball, surrounded by two drive wheels and two tensioner wheels

if you ever look inside a ball mouse you'd understand the basics of my idea

the two drive wheels would move the ball, thus capable of multi-direction travel

i'm still working on it but if anyone's interested in making it a reality, let me know

this is just one of those "outside of the box" ideas
